We passed the breakwater into the harbor of Mazatlan at 6 o'clock in the morning. We had traveled all night from Cabo across the Sea of Cortez. It was a little choppy. The Mazatlan Harbor was calm.
On the way in we passed many shrimp boats such as these. Mazatlan is a major seafood processing port. Shrimp is key to the economy. We also passed thousands of Korean cars ready for export to Mexico.
